Frequently asked

These eight questions account for most of the email traffic in a first enquiry. Reading them should save you about a fortnight.

Are you a factory or a trading company?
We manufacture. Our plant is in Yanjiang Town, Taizhou, Zhejiang — the address on every document we send is the address where the vehicles are assembled. Video walkthroughs of the frame, painting, assembly and testing lines are available on request before you place a first order.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is set per model and per configuration, because colour, battery chemistry and controller settings drive it. Send the model, the target market and the annual volume you are planning and we will quote MOQ together with the price break points, rather than quoting a single number that turns out to be wrong for your case.
Can you supply certification for my market?
Certification is market-specific and model-specific. Tell us the destination country and the class you intend to register the vehicle as, and we will confirm in writing which reports already exist for that model, which need to be extended, and what the cost and lead time of the extension would be. See the Compliance page for how each market treats these vehicles.
Can the vehicles be shipped by air?
No. Vehicles fitted with lithium batteries move by sea. Batteries are classed as UN3480/UN3481 dangerous goods and require a UN38.3 test report, an MSDS and dangerous-goods packing certification. Lead-acid configurations are also restricted. Plan on FCL sea freight, and plan your sample shipment the same way.
How many units fit in a container?
It depends on the model and whether the vehicles ship fully assembled, semi-knocked-down or completely knocked down. SKD and CKD roughly double what fits in the same box. Use the loading calculator on the Packing & Shipping page for an estimate, then ask us for the confirmed loading plan for the models you intend to combine.
Can you build under my own brand?
Yes. Logo on the body and the panel, custom colourways, custom top case and mirrors, dashboard artwork, controller speed limit, and printed manuals and cartons in your language. Structural changes to the body require tooling — see the OEM & ODM page.
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are a deposit against the proforma invoice and the balance against a copy of the bill of lading. For repeat customers and larger programmes other structures are negotiable. Terms are quoted in writing with the proforma invoice, never verbally.
How do you handle spare parts and warranty?
Spare parts are shipped with the order as a percentage of unit count — controllers, chargers, mirrors, brake parts and body panels are the usual list. Warranty terms for battery and motor are set per contract and stated on the proforma invoice. Ask for the spare-parts list of a model before you sign, not after.
